RoamConnect is a new service offered by TraiTel Telecommunications.
Rather than making an outbound call, RoamConnect allows you to quickly establish a phone call between your mobile and one or more people using a single Text Message. This service is primarily useful while overseas or on a temporary SIM, where outbound calls may be costly. When initiating a call with RoamConnect, you will receive an inbound call, and then your contact or contacts will be connected as well. Rather than paying your telco's international calling rate, you only pay TraiTel's regular calling fees.
RoamConnect also allows you to create a conference call involving multiple parties. To start a conference call, simply enter in a text message the numbers of each party you wish to invite. Separate the numbers with a space or a comma (as you prefer) and click send. Your call will be connected!
RoamConnect is available in your account web-messaging interface. Simply log in to your account (or the Demo account if not currently a TraiTel customer) and select "Voice Services". RoamConnect is found in the "Conference" section on the lower left of the window.
TraiTel Telecommunications has released the latest version of the TTMessenger.

Featuring facilities for our Wellington-based TraiTel staff, and housing a brand new cutting edge data centre, the new premises marks a significant milestone in the progress of TraiTel Telecommunications internationally.
Built from top of the range hardware, this data centre (called v2) adds tremendous capability into the TraiTel network and features not only fully uninterruptible power supplies, redundant A/C units, load balancing and redundant servers, but also low-tech improvements such as using raised flooring instead of suspended mesh cable trays which makes the work environment tidier and improves access.
The highest levels of security are achieved by government grade finger print access technology and multiple cameras that record all access 24/7 and store the recordings on and off-site simultaneously.
TraiTel Telecommunications is pleased to release our latest software product, an SMS plug in for Microsoft Outlook.

Now with the TraiTel SMS plug in for Outlook, our customers can send an SMS directly to a contact, send reminder SMS messages based on appointments in the Outlook calendar and customise messages with fields from the appointment or name of contact.
For more information, visit our Outlook SMS Plug in page.

TraiTel Telecommunications is pleased to announce the release of our SMS SOS service. In an emergency situation, notifying a large group of people about imminent danger is often a primary concern.
The Emergency SMS Broadcast system from TraiTel can be triggered in moments to send an SMS message to everyone potentially affected by a situation.
There is no limit to the number of broadcast lists able to be uploaded for an account, and likewise no limit to the amount of mobile numbers that can be contained in those lists.
For more information, visit our SMS SOS emergency broadcast page.
TraiTel Telecommunications is pleased to announce the release of our SMS Callback service.
For several years TraiTel has been listening to our customers express concern about the ability for their customers to simply call back
the number shown in their mobile phone after an SMS is received. Now they can!
SMS Call Back gives your customers the ability to simply call from their mobile phone the number shown in their mobile after an SMS sent through TraiTel was received by them. If you are sending a marketing message, an appointment reminder or anything else, the SMS Call Back service gives you and (as a result) your customers the following options when they call the number:
1. To play a 60 second audio message and then end the call.
2. To play a 60 second audio message and then end the call. Then immediately after, that person is called back and you are called as well. Both calls are connected together to create one seamless call.
3. Have the call directly connect to your main telephone number, no call back.
For more information, visit our SMS Callback page.
TraiTel Telecommunications is pleased to announce our valued customer Audi Australia has now incorporated the Call Me! button into their nationwide pre-owned car finder service.
Now Audi website visitors are able to simply and easily contact the appropriate dealership immediately upon seeing a car which takes their interest.
The Audi Australia Call Me! button can be found at this page. Simply put in your postcode to search for cars in your area, and you can see the Call Me! button on the resulting page.
Eli Traitel, CEO of TraiTel says; We are very pleased to have Audi on board, such a prestigious car brand to be using TraiTel's Call Me! button - I have no doubt that their website sales will increase as a result, it's the future in website communication and Audi are the first car company to implement this, brilliant!
The Call Me! button is available free to existing and new users of TraiTel's services, and carries no monthly fee. The only requirement is that the account has enough credit to cover the calls made, which in typical TraiTel fashion, are very low in cost.
For more information on the Call Me! Button talk to our Sales Department on 1300 76 86 16 or try a Call Me! Button which connects you straight to us now on our Call Me! button page.

TraiTel Telecommunications is proud to announce its latest innovation - the Call Me! button. Now TraiTel users can provide free calling facilities for their customers, direct from their websites, by adding a single line of html to their site's code.
The Call Me! button is a flexible solution for converting web visitors into active leads on the phone. The visitor simply enters their phone number and clicks 'call me' to establish an immediate call to a phone number (or numbers) you set in advance.
"The Call Me! button is my new favorite product! Every one of our customers needs to check out what this tool can do for their business, it is the future of website communication" says CEO Eli Traitel.
Call Me! buttons are an attractive alternative to toll-free numbers and have some distinct advantages, such as the ease of which the call is established, immediacy, and best of all - pricing.
The Call Me! button is available free to existing and new users of TraiTel's services, and carries no monthly fee. The only requirement is that the account has enough credit to cover the calls made, which in typical TraiTel fashion, are very low in cost.

TraiTel Telecommunications is proud to release its latest version of TTMessenger, a desktop messenger that has been downloaded by thousand's of clients and used world-wide to send and receive faxes, SMS and telephone calls.
This release is very important to TraiTel and its customers, because there has been no upgrades for over 2 years. Our technicians have worked very hard to ensure that this version proves to be extremely stable and more importantly, very user friendly.
The new version of TTMessenger (version 3.0) has considerable improvements over previous versions. The communication protocol has been completely re-written to bypass some of the stringent firewall rules and NAT setups that are currently in use.
VoIP quality in terms of connection and quality of call are much better than version 2.1 and below. All the codec's have been re-written to improve on bandwidth utilisation and packet loss.
SMS can now be sent in concatenated form (long SMS messages received as one in the mobile), Unicode characters are now supported (Chinese, Greek, etc) any language can send and receive. Scheduling for sending SMS reminders or broadcasts in the future is now a fully automated process.
Fax previewing and log management have been improved. Scheduling for sending Faxes in the future is now a fully automated process.
VSMS is now much easier to use. The user friendly interface is easier to manage and understand. Communication improvements allow for the recipient of a VSMS to listen again to the message, to be transferred back to another phone line or to record a response back to the sender of the VSMS.
TTMessenger now has IM. IM or instant messaging, is now incorporated into TTMessenger primarily for business use. Now, organisations are able to use IM whilst limiting who is able to use IM and what hours of the day IM can be used. IM is a very powerful communication tool that can now be fully controlled by an administrator or business owner.
Dozens of extra features and hundreds of changes / modifications have been made to improve on previous versions. This release is stable, powerful and very dependable - try it and you will see!
TraiTel Telecommunications as one of Australia's leading SMS providers, is now providing its customers with the ability to track SMS sent to mobile phones in Australia and internationally. Delivery tracking has been a highly sought after feature by many of TraiTel's clients and now it is available.
With delivery tracking
an organisation can send time and delivery
sensitive SMS messages to their customers or members and know exactly when the SMS message was received by the recipient and when or why if it failed to get delivered.
With delivery tracking, senders of the SMS can rest 100% assured in knowing that their message was either delivered or not and also have proof of the result. Financial institutions, health organisations or any other enterprise that must know if the message was delivered, can now do so by using TraiTel's pioneering SMS gateway.
Cost of each SMS with delivery tracking will only be $0.04 more than TraiTel's standard Australian-originated SMS, making TraiTel Telecommunications the lowest cost guaranteed delivery carrier in Australia - an SMS service that only few can offer.
Trial of this service is already underway by a select group of TraiTel's customers. As soon as testing is complete, it will be released and offered to all current and future clients.
TraiTel Telecommunications releases today a new feature that allows all customers to receive faxes in PDF as well as our traditionally used format of TIFF.
However the most important aspect is the increased security added by introducing ZIP compression and password protection as an additional option to compress the incoming fax attachments and to encapsulate them with a password so that the fax is locked and can only be opened by the person meant to view the fax.
TraiTel customers of various legal backgrounds, including lawyers and accountants have over time expressed a desire to better protect the information they receive, now they can.
Like all our other features and functions, these new features can be enabled, changed and disabled on the fly by customers logging into their account and clicking on Settings
, Fax via Email Settings
- the options are found under File Format and Compression
.
TraiTel Telecommunications is proud to release today and add to its ever increasing number of product offerings; IVR (interactive voice response). A service specifically designed to cater for small and medium sized businesses who wish to automate and improve the performance of their phone system whilst cutting the costs required for administration.
IVR allows a company of any size to fully automate their phone system and add a certain level of impressionable professionalism that is only found in large companies that spend thousands of dollars in hardware.
For only $54.50 per month, callers can now be attended to immediately, be greeted by the company's name or slogan and automatically transferred to the correct individual without the need for a receptionist to handle the calls. The system is feature rich and includes options such as caller authentication (for chargeable calls), divert to a new number when the original number is called but not answered, voice messages sent to email and much much more.
The service includes a free trial of 30 days and all customers are able to activate it and start using it immediately by logging into their web account.
A new service has just been released by TraiTel Telecommunications! VSMS voice short message service
is our latest technology and our own innovation that will take messaging into a completely new level. VSMS will make it very easy to broadcast a short voice message to hundreds of people instantly.
The message is not limited to mobile phones only as they can be delivered to any type of telephonic device. Once a person listens to the message they will be given the opportunity to respond to it (as a VSMS) so that it can be delivered back to the sender, or in addition the person will have the option of pressing a pre-selected number in their phone that will take the call back to the senders phone system or TTMessenger, effectively giving the receiver of the VSMS an opportunity to talk to a sales or customer service person immediately after listening to the message.
The voice messages can be easily recorded within minutes by using TTMessenger, and to send the messages the same easy steps required to send SMS will apply to VSMS.
If you have an urgent message, a reminder or something to say to your customers, friends or family, then VSMS will make it very easy to do. The cost per VSMS to a normal land line is 18 cents (untimed) and 25 cents (per minute) to a mobile phone and it also attracts a small monthly fee of $20 which lets you receive responses. As per all the services we offer which attract a monthly fee, a free trial period is provided and in this case it is no less than 90 days.
Customers are able to start using the service immediately by logging into their web based account or by downloading the latest version of TTMessenger.
TraiTel Telecommunications announces today that the post beta testing phase is now complete. For the last three months the company has been concentrating on looking after the ten companies that came on board to test the new technology and whilst doing that made sure to very quickly iron out any issues that might have risen in the this time frame.
Chief executive officer, Eli Traitel says, "We are very glad to say that although these last three months have not been perfect, that we actually had very few minor incidents and at the same time we managed to fix them with minimal disruptions to our customers. We built the technology with a focus on making it very solid. So solid we made it, that in some aspects of it we forgot to take into consideration the human error factor.
There was very little tolerance for errors. If a user sent a fax with the slightest bit of incorrect information, the system would decline the task. Now, that we have learnt from these hiccups we have built into the system a higher tolerance as well as better documentation so that all users understand what steps to take when using most of the available features - the system has been running so well since, that even a Rolex would have trouble keeping up.
Our main focus now will be to work on research and development, add more features to the system and build some specific tools (or software in this case) that will be able to make things even easier for our users."
Based on the results the company has achieved in this last few months, TraiTel will now start to focus on expanding its clientele. The company will focus its sales towards vertical markets such as 'financial institutions, law firms, real estate, hospitality, medical and insurance'. "These are the industries that need us the most," says Eli, "they are constantly using fax as a medium of communication and their current systems are slow and ineffective in terms of on-going costs and time management. Once these companies start to use our service they will realise a change such as the one that happened when computers and mobile phones started to be used, they will think to themselves how is it possible that we used such a slow system for such a long time - in fact, this is what we're being told already.."
TraiTel Telecommunications, a leader in the advanced delivery of fax and voice messaging solutions, completes all beta testing of its new services and signs up a group of companies that are willing to put the technology to use.
"I am very excited to finally see the technology work in a real life scenario. We've been developing the technology for three and a half years, during this same period we have tested and tested and tested to make sure that the service that we will be offering and the reliability that we'll be claiming are both in fact correct.
It has been this day that I have always looked forward to after such a long time of having a technology in development, you can not help but to stop sometimes and think that you are never going to get there - and then after continuous persistence today arrives - the feeling of joy is hard to describe", says chief executive officer Eli Traitel.
"I will be forever grateful to these ten companies that are willing to test the technology in its initial stages, this stage is very tricky but I whole-heartedly believe that everything will run smoothly and in the case that something does go wrong, we have put in place an excellent support mechanism that will be ready to rectify the smallest of problems - the CEO's and directors of the companies are well aware of this and I guess this is why they are willing to come on board."
The company's focus will now be to make sure that the service runs without any disruptions and will be taking notes and measuring the type of responses that the users will give such as complaints, complements and ways to improve on the service. If everything goes as planned the company will be ready to start marketing its services to other businesses by the start of next year. If this is not the case and TraiTel encounters substantial issues, then the company's plans are to continue working with the current ten to overcome whatever hurdles might arise.
